My Story: From Rock Bottom to Rebuilding Strength

I wasn’t always the coach you see today.

For over 20 years, gymnastics was my world. I was a national champion with medals, discipline, and an identity rooted in being an athlete. But then, everything changed. A serious injury forced me to quit.

In an instant, I went from feeling powerful and in control… to being lost.
For nearly five years, I spiraled. Drinking. Partying. Neglecting my body. Neglecting myself. I remember looking in the mirror one day and not recognizing the man staring back. My strength, my discipline, my identity—gone.

The breaking point?
I walked into a park, determined to “start fresh.” I grabbed the pull-up bar… and couldn’t lift myself even once.
For someone who had trained his whole life, it was humiliating. I felt weak. Small. Defeated.

That moment lit a fire in me. I wasn’t going to stay broken. I wasn’t going to let my body—and my life—slip further away.

I went home and started digging. I discovered calisthenics—and it was like finding a secret world. Training that didn’t just build muscle, but rebuilt identity. Strength that wasn’t about numbers on a bar, but control, skill, and freedom.

I trained every day. Sometimes twice a day. I failed more times than I can count. I followed bad advice online, wasted months, hit walls, and felt the frustration many of you know all too well.


But I didn’t stop.

I studied. I enrolled in the University of Sport Science. I devoured books, research, webinars. Slowly, piece by piece, I rebuilt myself—not just stronger than before, but in full control of my body and rebuilt my identity.

And here’s the truth:
If I can come back from rock bottom, anyone can do what I do.

Today, I’ve coached over 150 people worldwide—from beginners who couldn’t do a single push-up to athletes chasing advanced skills and champion gymnasts. I’ve seen them go through the same struggles, doubts, and breakthroughs I did.

And every time, I remind them:
You don’t need to be born an athlete. You don’t need perfect genetics. You don’t need to “get lucky.”
All you need is the right method—and the right guide.

That’s why I coach. Because I know what it feels like to lose yourself. And I know the power of building yourself back, stronger, in control, and proud.
